George & Emily
George and Emily chose the beautiful Cooling Castle Barn for their special day, a venue that I have always been desperate to film at and I wasn’t disappointed! This Easter Monday wedding started at (a very busy) bridal prep, I set up and began filming and then tracked down George and his best man to capture a few shots. After a small toast to the groom with a little bit of whiskey, the entourage made their way back down to the barn and I headed back across to Emily to film her final preparations along with a touching moment where Emily revealed her dress to her dad (its was safe to say there was a few tears)
After best man Andrew convinced George that it was probably a good idea to turn his phone off before the wedding, they nervously waited for Emily's arrival. When George saw his bride walking up the aisle, the nerves seemed to turn into pure excitement. We had some amazing vows (with sprinkles of Disney in), some lovely words read by Emily’s mum Vanessa, some more lovely words from George’s ushers and then an A.A.Milne quote read by Emily’s sister Rosie.
The couple then signed the marriage certificates and were officially Mr & Mrs Peryer. After a few photos outside in the glorious sunshine, George & Emily then drove onto the lawn in the triumph to meet their wedding guests in style!
Cue confetti shots then the garden games!
Everyone was soaking up the sunshine before heading into the beautifully decorated barn (mostly done by Emily herself) and after the food it was time for the speeches and Emily’s dad was up first! Followed by George and then best man Andrew. Each speech had loving, kind and moving words for the bride/groom as well as humour throughout!
My favourite being from best man Andrew informing us on his new found knowledge that George has never bought his own underwear!
Soon after they were cutting the wedding cake, that I couldn't quite believe was made by Emily herself! They then hit the floor in the middle of the barn for their first dance, as well as a lovey father/daughter dance and mother/son dance, the guests joined the dance floor, the drinks started flowing and the party well and truly got underway!
George & Emily, I loved getting to know you both, with my fiancee being Disney obsessed, I feel like we were very much on the same wavelength and I loved the subtle Disney references throughout the day.
I loved the fact that the bloopers reel was nearly as long as your wedding film and especially loved Lisa’s laugh throughout the day! Cooling Castle has been a venue I have always wanted to film, thank you so much for letting me capture your magical day here. I hope your wedding film can help you relive the fairy tale over and over again!
